Share international is a 501 (c) 3 charity, eligible to receive tax deductible donations, currently registered in US. It is also in consultative status as an NGO with United Nations.

Long Term Goals

SHARE International hopes to be able to provide ongoing humanitarian assistance through various activities focused on educational sector, setting up non profit schools, setting up after school centers for coaching and aiding economic development activities such as skills training centers, start-up businesses through micro-credit and other such activities.

Fundamental Principles of SHARE International

Humanity

SHARE International, born of a desire to bring assistance and hope without discrimination to the helpless, endeavors, in its international and national capacity, to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Its purpose is to preserve dignity  for the human being. It promotes mutual understanding, friendship, cooperation, and lasting peace amongst all peoples.

Impartiality

SHARE International makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class, or political opinions. It endeavors to relieve the suffering of individuals, being guided solely by their needs, and to give priority to the most urgent cases of distress.

Transparency

We believe that those who support our organization through the sacrifice(s) of their precious time, energy, and resources should be confident that these are being used for worthy purposes in support of the stated mission of the organization and not being diverted toward other causes and goals that they are not aware of. We, SHARE International, vow to our donors, volunteers, and partner organizations that we will make every effort to give them the full details of our activities and finances.

Universality

SHARE International is a worldwide organization that operates in areas based on the urgent needs that exist. We believe that all societies have equal status and share equal responsibilities of helping each other.

Independence

SHARE International is an independent entity. Although we observe all national and local laws in the areas where we operate, we are not affiliated with any government. We work with various partner organizations and individuals in order to carry out our mission but we are not directly affiliated with or an entity or part of any other organization or corporation.

History of SHARE International

SHARE International was formed in the Summer of 2010. The charity was set up by a group of friends in Dearborn, Michigan to raise urgently needed resources from donors in the United States to the victims of the massive and catastrophic floods in Pakistan. They saw the devastation of these flood and the great suffering it was inflicting on the people and became increasingly uncomfortable just sitting back and watching it happen on their t.v. screen so they decided to act. In its brief history, SHARE International has managed to bring together the community  to work together to help with its vision. SHARE Pakistan was registered in 2011. This chapter is engaged in supporting children education, school set up and assisting in general relief measures. SHARE International is planning on working in other parts of world as we get more opportunity. We believe in SHARING resources with all those in need.
